ITPL Bangalore under siege..

“Terrorist Attack on ITPL…. Bangalore…”

Does this news spell shiver under your spine…So does mine…. But wait…. this is the most probable thing to happen in the near future.

October 30th was the day when terrorists blasted Guwahati…November 26th was Mumbai attacked…. In less than a month’s time India was bombed twice…. And in the next 15 days our ITPL could be planned target….

At the ITPL entrance gate, one usually finds 4-5 guards. These guards routinely check the baggage of the strangers entering in. One wonders if a stranger shows a gun at them are they equipped to handle this situation? They don’t even have adequate weapons to protect themselves. Imagine, a group of 6-8 young, well-built men, armed with self-emulating bombs, loaded Kalashnikovs, and hand-granites suddenly storming ITPL. In one shot they kill the security guards and that’s all. Due to absence of any internal security arrangement in ITPL, the entire campus would at the mercy of terrorists. And how easy is for these young built men to run firing their naked rifles at every onlooker and reach the main building of ITPL. And once they reach there, they coolly denote the RDX. In a moment, we would see the entire complex crumbling down…replicating the twin tower attack of the 9/11.

Sounds very strange… and may be impossible!!! But this is very likely…this small article is just to indicate our vulnerability. Appropriate steps should be taken ASAP. I request to the Chief Minister of Karnataka to take action appropriately. Kindly beef up the security at important locations like ITPL, Electronic City, Kempegowda bus stand, City Railway station and others. Not only that, there should be adequate internal security arrangements at all these places so that in the event of terrorist attack, these places should be capable of handling the initial hours effectively unlike in Mumbai where we lost the crucial hours.

As citizens we have to stand up for our country and for ourselves. Our country’s integrity is our integrity. Let’s not give anybody a chance again to question our freedom…we have to take responsibility for our countrymen and ourselves….

Jai Hind….
